Dear Baby,
This was a big week. Your Uncle Jonny got married, and we finally announced we were expecting you. I feel like I'm finally getting over this ickiness hump that I've been struggling with lately. Although certain foods still are not appealing, I don't feel yucky most of the afternoon anymore.
As always with my pregnancies....the food that always sounds good are icecream, sushi and beef jerky....two of which I am supposed to avoid.

I plan to be making it to my goal of not breaking out maternity clothes until at least second trimester, so that's great! Now I suspect they will come out in waves (shorts first...because mine are getting uncomfortable). But I'd like to hold off as long as possible. Twice I've worn jeans to work and thought "Yep...these are going in that box labeled 'don't open until you are not pregnant'"
Its hard to believe this time during my last pregnancy we were just telling your Dad's parents about Lorelai. We wanted to do it in person, but it was hard to find a weekend we could drive to visit. It was around this time during Week 11 with Lorelai I was also starting to find some pants uncomfortable.
Ever since Lorelai got hand foot and mouth earlier this month, she loves to play doctor. She has my doctor kit from when I was her age...and she loves it. In her opinion, anywhere she can reach on your body makes a "thump thump" sound of a heartbeat...my tummy, thigh, arm... but it sure is cute when she does it at my tummy.
