Lorelai got to check out the newest exhibit at the Omaha Children's Museum this past weekend. The new exhibit is called "Forever Forest" and walks children through the fun of learning about sustainability, and products made from trees. First, this isn't just any exhibit, this exhibit is Omaha's first own traveling exhibit. It was created here in Omaha, and will be traveling around to different Children's Museums across the country over the next few years!
Lorelai LOVED this exhibit, and it had plenty of fun things for both the old and young. She especially loved the Toddler area with a playhouse and stuffed animals.
But she also loved fishing with her dad, and sometimes even fished like a bear (sans fishing pole) and waited for a fish to come around and would grab it right out of the "water"!
She learned about termites.....
And about trains and forests!
She did a little kayaking
And learned about building houses
There were lots of big kid things to do too, like this amazing tree play ground that she wasn't quite ready to try....maybe next year!
