I don't know where summer went...but it seems to have just flown by. Fall does not mean slowing down here, rather it is full speed ahead for us. Let's talk a little bit about what has been going on.
First, I've come to terms...I'm finally admitting I'm 30 years old. Yep, this blog no longer references that we are 20-somethings, because that is a lie. As of this week, I am 30. Let me say it out loud "Thur-Tee" Ugh. That's a huge number. I will never again have an age that starts with a "2" and that is depressing.
What else is up? Oh yeah, along with turning 30, we are moving. One day I was sitting down enjoying one of my favorite time wasters...Zillow. And there I found a home I really liked. Not just liked...but loved! I suspected Kevin would as well. Not long after, we were contracted to buy a new home.
Our current home is wonderful, and we are sad to be leaving the area of town we have grown to love so much...but our next home is really a home of our dreams and we couldn't be more thrilled. Now we are working through the next big step as first time homeowners, selling our first home. I had no idea how much work would go into this process, but we are excited for the end result...a new beautiful home!

That's okay, because here we like to focus on the awesomeness that is the Millennial generation. And you know what, statistically a lot of Millennials are already 30...and they are rocking it. And we are going to be joining in on that awesomeness. "Thirty Flirty and Thriving!" all the way! Why is thirty so awesome? Well, I'm not sure yet because I'm new to this whole 3-0 thing...but I'll figure it out and will certainly be sharing it with you.

Lorelai is growing so big, and we can't believe she will be 9 months old next week! Pretty soon she will have spent just as much time outside of my belly as she did inside...and that is pretty amazing.
Overall life is wonderful! We are in no way accustomed to being parents yet, but hopefully we will be soon.
