Hi Lorelai,
We had lots and lots of extended family time this past week, which was really special. We celebrated your grandpa's 60th birthday!

We had our weekly doctor's appointment this week and everything was looking great, but your heartbeat was low. We got monitored for 20 minutes at the doctors to make sure everything was a-okay! Everything is still going great, and we are ready for you to arrive any day!
Okay relatively new and funny (and yet incredibly annoying) thing that has been occurring lately is the super vivid dreams. A lot of pregnant ladies talk about this, but mine is one particular type of dream....trip planning. I mean full-on international multi-destination trip planning. This clearly is a reality for me (from all our travels) and planning each phase in a long trip is a lot of work...and I'm doing this in my sleep. Last week it was China, this week it was a tour around South America. This may not seem like a big deal to many of you, but I wake up completely stressed out. Sleep is already a struggle, and to wake up feeling like I've just spent the last 8 hours researching, planning and booking a trip is utterly exhausting. Not to mention I wake up a little disappointed that I won't be taking this amazing trip anytime soon.
What else have we been doing? We're doing everything we can right now to plan for your arrival. That means we are doing lots of laundry for all your new clothes, we installed the car seat bases this week in our cars, I packed up a diaper bag with essentials, and worked more on our hospital bag (okay...this may become hospital bagS...because I can't seem to narrow anything down). We also decorated for Christmas because we want to feel the holiday cheer around your birth day.
Lady has been very needy lately, which I think she knows you're coming soon!

Symptoms: My pregnancy app says I've basically hit the largest I'm going to get, but that you are going to keep growing. That is pretty amazing because I feel like you don't have any room right now! Many family members like to comment on how out of breath I am lately...whether it's moving off the couch, walking to the car or just talking. I don't notice it most times, since that' how I am all the time. My legs, feet, hands wrists...everything is still incredibly swollen. Heartburn is still very much present, as is the pressure I have from you sitting so low.
