Hi Baby,
This week we took you to a Broadway show! You also ate your first sushi (pregnancy approved non-raw-fish sushi). Your dad and I decided (okay, so I decided) I want your first solid food to be sushi when you're ready to eat solid foods. Don't worry, I'll make a very baby-safe sushi...and you will love it.
We started wondering what your first Broadway show will be, and at what age you'll be ready to sit through a whole show. Cats was my first, and as for your dad, it was Les Miserable .
My pregnancy app says that this week you are the size of a chocolate chip (or a little popper fire cracker). From the way I'm feeling, you sure feel a lot bigger than that.
We are still looking for our first home to purchase before you arrive...but so far haven't found it yet!
Symptoms: I don't know how "they" do it...but everywhere online said morning sickness would start in week 6...and they were right. I mean on the dot, the exact day week 6 hit...I woke up and thought "Ugh...this is going to be no fun." Also...the fatigue has been miserable. I maybe nap once a year....where this weekend I got two fabulous naps in both Saturday and Sunday.
Promise: We promise you're going to grow up on all the classic musicals! We will have you singing "I Dreamed a Dream" for your first school talent show! Or maybe you can cheat on the day in elementary school you're assigned to memorize a poem, and you recite a song from "Cats" instead of learning something new.
